Close to the Med and good for Carcason
The site was not busy in late May but all of The facilities were open. The pitch designated to us had its own small “sanitare”. Shower toilet and wash basin. Bags of hot water.
Reception was efficient and pleasant with English spoken. Bread ordered the night before was available from the small shop.
We needed the laundrette and the site has two to choose from. Very easy to use.
We stayed 3 nights very siting Carcason and then hitting the well stocked Carrefour in Narbonne some 6km fro the site.
Our phones were switching to 3G but WiFi was available near reception. The swimming pool looked great but the weather was not too good to enjoy.
The site is a great one for a stopover or a longer break. Ideal for families.

Quirky site
A really strange (in a good way) site. Shower, loo and washbasin in a little, private room on the pitch is odd but very nice. The pitches are quite narrow but very long giving plenty of space. People at reception fluent in English and very helpful. Shame internet only available at reception, the restaurant one is non-operational, but at least it is free.
It is in a nice setting, by the étang, with gated access to it. Quite easy to get to Narbonne, Gruissan and the beaches. We had only intended to stay 2 nights, ended up staying 6 and only left then because we had to head home.
Only downside is the mosquitoes. Getting fairly bad at the end of our stay but I can imagine them being a pest later on in the season.
Restaurant on the site served up a good 3-course meal at a reasonable price and the pizzas’ that others were eating looked good. A really nice manager made the service a pleasure.

Stayed a week here at end of season and loved it. Great facilities and lovely helpful bilingual staff. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a 2 week camping holiday at la nautique and overall was a good experience. A few points i d like to mention are the pitches are generally ok and spread out, your own private bathroom is fantastic and very convenient being right behind your tent, the on site shop is very poor we thought, bread in the morning and suckers for the kids is about yer lot, there is a LIDL and leader price 5 mins away to do a bigger shop which is sooooo much cheaper. I must say the staff are the friendless i ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, nothing was too much trouble, my little boy cut his foot playing football so the owner & a translator took us to hospital & stayed with us….very very kind. The pool i must mention is very small & very cold…no where to sit one day so went back to tent, nice area for a drink in the evening & entertainment was good.Foam party once a week & night disco swim also very good, quiet in evening & nearby port of guissan very french very pritty b bak

But there are some ‘FLOPS’ as well … Next time ! ðŸ˜‚😂😂
